Your Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer - Technology Integration you'll lead a portfolio of projects that bring new technology into our Service Technology Centre (STC) network, enhancing manufacturing capabilities and driving operational KPIs. Working closely with specialists, STC manufacturing engineers, and zone leaders, you'll ensure technologies meet the relevant standards. Staying up to date with the latest manufacturing and digital innovations will be key to engaging effectively with technical experts and operations.
You will
- Deliver CAPEX Projects: Support the design, scheduling, safety assessment, supplier engagement, and on-time, on-budget delivery of multi-million-dollar capital projects.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to a portfolio of improvement initiatives, using tools like digital twins, factory simulations, and IT integration to optimise manufacturing systems.
- Champion New Technologies: Act as the single point of contact between manufacturing and digital teams, aligning requirements, onboarding vendors, validating business benefits, and ensuring compliance with VTPS principles.
- Support Governance & Standards: Implement global directives, manage permits and engineering changes, perform audits, and track spend, schedules, and project effectiveness.
- Grow Your Expertise: Take ownership of your professional development through planning, reviews, and targeted training.

- Degree in an engineering discipline (or equivalent) with experience delivering diverse projects and managing suppliers/contractors.
- Strong customer focus and communication skills; able to engage confidently from shop floor to senior management.
- Proven ability to influence and achieve results without direct authority; highly organised and collaborative across global teams.
- Knowledge of precision mechanical design, lean manufacturing, quality and safety tools (e.g., Kaizen, VSM, PFMEA, risk assessments).
- Proficient in engineering and productivity software (e.g., Fusion, MS Project, O365, FlexSim, PPAP); fluent in English and committed to continuous development.
