About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Head of Manufacturing / Manufacturing Director to lead the organization's entire manufacturing function.
This role will oversee Production, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics, with a strong focus on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, operational excellence, and transformational initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be a proven manufacturing leader who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution, optimize processes across the value chain, develop high-performing teams, and deliver measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end manufacturing organization.
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, automation, and cost improvement.
- Lead transformational programs and manage change across manufacturing operations.
- Establish and monitor key operational performance indicators and ensure delivery against business targets.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, collaboration, and operational discipline.
- Develop and mentor manufacturing and operations leadership teams.
- Ensure effective coordination between manufacturing, engineering, procurement, warehouse, and logistics functions.
- Promote best practices in manufacturing, quality, safety, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term manufacturing capabilities and operational strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Significant leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
- Proven experience managing multiple functions across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Strong track record of delivering operational improvements and business transformation.
