As the Head of Human Resources in Asset and Wealth Management, you will drive the people strategy across Asia Pacific AWM working across Human Resources specialist teams to deliver an integrated employee experience, using data and insights to guide decisions. You will coach executives, strengthen leadership capability, and lead organization effectiveness and people priorities that support business growth and transformation.

Job responsibilities

  • Partner with senior business leaders to set and execute the people strategy aligned to business priorities and transformation goals
  • Advise executives on leadership, organization health, team effectiveness, and complex people matters
  • Drive end-to-end talent priorities, including succession planning, talent reviews, internal mobility, and leadership development
  • Use workforce and talent data to identify trends, diagnose root causes, and translate insights into action plans and measurable outcomes
  • Influence senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization to align priorities, resolve trade-offs, and deliver outcomes at pace
  • Strengthen performance and development practices to build a high-performance culture and improve manager capability
  • Orchestrate employee experience delivery by partnering with Human Resources specialist teams to implement global, scalable solutions
  • Champion AI/digitally enabled people solutions, driving adoption across client groups and HR
  • Ensure strong risk, conduct, and control standards in people decisions and represent Human Resources in relevant governance forums

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Seasoned HR business advisory professional with a minimum of 15 years of Human Resources leadership experience within financial services, including senior partnership with executive leadership teams
  • Demonstrated experience leading regional people strategy across multiple markets in a matrixed, global organization
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align diverse perspectives and operate effectively through ambiguity
  • Strong experience delivering enterprise talent outcomes across succession planning, leadership development, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage workforce and talent analytics to inform decisions and drive measurable outcomes
  • Proven capability in workforce planning, organizational design, and change management for large-scale transformations
  • Track record of coaching and influencing senior leaders with sound judgment, discretion, and executive presence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for senior audiences
  • Demonstrated experience operating with strong risk, conduct, and controls mindset in people-related decision making

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior HR leadership experience operating at Managing Director (or equivalent) level within financial services or a related sector
  • Senior Human Resources leadership experience within asset management, wealth management, or alternatives
  • Experience leading AI/digitally enabled Human Resources transformation, including automation and self-service adoption at scale
  • Demonstrated success building leadership pipelines and succession plans for highly specialized investment or client-facing populations
  • Experience partnering with leaders through significant growth, integration, or operating model redesign
