About the role & team...

We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Manager/Senior Manager of AI & Data Analytics to lead our analytics function and drive strategic decision-making across the company. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for building ALP&aposs core data capabilities from the ground up, leading a talented team, and delivering high-impact projects that optimize our operations and fuel our growth.

This is a critical leadership role for a hands-on leader who is passionate about translating complex data into actionable business strategy and building a world-class analytics function.

What you will do...

Strategic Analysis & Operational Excellence:

Lead deep-dive analyses into warehouse expansion opportunities, operational efficiency, and transportation optimization to identify key drivers for growth and cost savings.

Develop analytical frameworks and KPIs to monitor and improve performance across all aspects of the business.

Partner with senior leadership to provide data-driven recommendations on critical business decisions.

Data Capability & Infrastructure:

Define and execute the roadmap for ALP&aposs data analytics infrastructure, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and BI tooling.

Establish best practices for data governance and quality to ensure a reliable 'single source of truth' for the organization.

Empower the organization with self-service analytics tools and insightful dashboards.

High-Impact AI Projects:

Identify, scope, and lead the development of AI projects to solve key business challenges (e.g., demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, network optimization).

Champion a data-first culture by demonstrating the tangible business value and ROI of data science initiatives.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of 5+ data analysts and scientists.

Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.

Manage team priorities, resource allocation, and project roadmaps to ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.

Who you are

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor&aposs degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering from a top-tier university.

5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or operational excellence.

A minimum of 2 years of direct experience leading, mentoring, and managing a team of data professionals.

Strong business acumen and a proven ability to connect data analysis to tangible business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as a tech company, management consulting firm, or startup.

Proficiency with SQL and a programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).

Experience with the modern data stack (e.g., BigQuery/Snowflake, dbt, Tableau/Looker, Airflow).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences.
