Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Operations and Business Development Manager to oversee day-to-day operational functions while simultaneously identifying and pursuing new business growth opportunities. This is a fully onsite role requiring regular, in-person presence at our office and customer site. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset - someone equally comfortable optimizing internal processes as they are building external partnerships and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee and streamline daily operational processes across departments to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Develop, implement, and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational policies
- Track and report on key operational KPIs identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between operations, sales, finance, and HR
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
- Manage operational budgets and resource allocation
Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform growth strategies
- Develop and present business proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements to prospective clients and stakeholders
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, prospects, and strategic partners
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements, contracts, and MOUs
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align BD efforts with overall company goals
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operations and/or BD executives
- Provide regular performance reviews, coaching, and development plans for direct reports
- Work closely with senior leadership to align operational and BD strategies with the company's vision
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on operational performance and business development progress
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in operations management, marketing, business development, or a combined role
- Proven track record of driving business growth and improving operational efficiency
- Experience managing teams and working cross-functionally
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools, project management software, and MS Office / Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Strong financial acumen - budgeting, forecasting, P&L management
Education
- Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or a related field
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an advantage
Other Requirements
- Must be able to commit to fully onsite work - this role does not support remote or hybrid arrangements
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, site visits, or industry events
- Language Efficiency in English and Chinese.

Pay: $3,500.00 - $4,500.00 per month
