Job Description

As Manager, HR Business Partner (Talent & Development), you will help shape, drive, and bring to life the people agenda for the Business Units in your care, with a dedicated focus on building talent management and development capability across the organisation. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to embrace and communicate change and translate business context into programmes that land.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management & Development

  • Drive the operational delivery of the organisation's talent review and succession planning cycle, including scheduling, communications, data preparation, and calibration logistics.
  • Support the performance management cycle end to end, ensuring managers and employees are guided through each stage consistently and on time.
  • Coordinate and facilitate development programmes, working with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and meaningful participation.
  • Develop and update career pathing frameworks, development tools, and HR programme materials, keeping them current and accessible.
  • Support the employee engagement survey cycle, including coordination, action planning facilitation with business units, and progress tracking.
  • Compile and present data on programme participation and effectiveness to support recommendations by HR leadership.

HR Business Partnering

  • Coach and advise managers and senior leaders on people management, team effectiveness, and HR best practices.
  • Partner with senior leadership to advise on and execute HR initiatives that support business goals. Support change management planning and execution within your business units, including restructures, role changes, and workforce transitions.
  • Use HR data and metrics to identify trends and make proactive recommendations to business leaders.
  • Represent HR in business unit conversations, connecting people matters to business outcomes.

As a member of the Team

  • Collaborate closely with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and the HRIS and Operations team to ensure people programmes are integrated and coherent.
  • Contribute to and lead ad-hoc HR projects as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 6 to 8 years of HR experience, with exposure to both HR Business Partnering and talent management or development programmes.
  • Experience working in a multi-country or matrix environment.
  • Strong programme coordination and follow-through skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Good communicator and relationship builder across different levels and functions.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and reliable in delivery.
  • Collaborative, resilient, and comfortable working within a structured team where direction is set collectively.
