Manager, Executive Education (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 536105) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Requirements:
. a good bachelor's degree, preferably in business-related disciplines with at least 6 years work experience
. excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese), and be able to proofread and edit English and Chinese articles
. strong customer service and project management skills, good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, branding and marketing skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels in the private, public and government sectors as well as the ability to work independently with entrepreneurial spirit and under pressure, and to perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines
. a positive attitude and detail-oriented mindset a high level of computer proficiency
. substantial experience and a proven track record in student recruitment for entrepreneurship programmes within a business school setting are essential. Relevant experiences working in the Executive Education field in Business Development as well as managing Senior Executives at C-Levels or relevant experiences in Programme Development, as well as marketing and corporate communication knowledge are needed
. connections and knowledge of the Executive Education markets in Mainland, and the experience in course designing will be a definite advantage and
. demonstration of a strong alignment with the Faculty's culture of internal entrepreneurship and be willing to adapt to internal role reassignments as required by team objectives.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
. develop strong client relations with senior decision makers and influencers in leading Mainland enterprises and target organisations/segments, particularly in the context of enterprise global expansion, to understand their talent management strategies, systems and processes, and respond appropriately to their needs
. grow the Executive Education revenue through sales and development activities, with a focus on high-impact and repeatable engagements interpret industry trends, patterns, demographics, and emerging needs related to enterprise globalisation and leadership development, as well as the effectiveness of historical marketing efforts etc.
. continually evaluate competitive environment, particularly in cross-border and executive education markets, and provide analysis and recommendations to improve business results and enhance programme differentiation
. work closely with the team and clients to assure strong ongoing client relationships, and support the successful implementation of programmes, including customised corporate training and curated executive learning initiatives, and small-scale, high-level engagement formats
. ensure programmes are effectively and adequately marketed, propose marketing initiatives, as needed, to drive programmes, particularly those aligned with enterprise globalisation and cross-border collaboration themes, and collaborate with, and supervise colleagues within the team and the Faculty to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns
. work within a programme budget, including helping to manage all programme-related expenses (i.e., advertisement, direct response, and brochure), support business development strategy and activities with a focus on demand generation, lead nurturing and client conversion and
. identify and support the development of platforms and opportunities for Executive Education to communicate value proposition and extend outreach, including facilitating structured engagement formats (e.g. executive dialogues, roundtables), and manage business development plan execution, ensuring on-target delivery.
He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and travel outside Hong Kong.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefit.
