The applicant must possess
- a recognised degree
- a minimum of 10 years post-qualification working experience of performing secretariat duties, corporate administration or project / event management at a statutory body, government departments or other sizeable organisations. Knowledge and experience in construction or engineering sector will be a distinct advantage
- keen interests and awareness of construction industry development and current affairs
- excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- a high level of integrity and a sense of accountability
- strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- high level of attention to detail, discretion and professionalism and
- a proactive, resourceful, meticulous character and the ability to work independently.

Duties include
Report to the Senior Manager - Corporate Secretariat, the incumbent is responsible:
- to provide high-quality secretariat and administrative support to the CIC, its committees and sub-committees, including the drafting of meeting papers and minutes
- to uphold and continuously enhance the quality and professionalism of secretariat services
- to oversee appointment exercises for the CIC, its committees and sub-committees and to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- to ensure rules and procedures are complied with in the course of CIC's operations
- to liaise with stakeholders and relevant parties on matters in relation to the construction industry
- to arrange and organise workshops, seminars and conferences
- to plan, coordinate and organise events in relation to the construction industry and
- to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
