About the Department
The Consolidation & Statutory Reporting team is responsible for Group consolidation and external financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS and applicable listing requirements. The team owns the endtoend consolidation process, financial statements and disclosures, and operates within a strong SOX / ICFR control environment across the Group.
Role Summary
The Manager, Consolidation & Statutory Reporting, serves as a key technical lead and deputy to the Head of Consolidation & Statutory Reporting. The role balances hands-on execution with oversight responsibilities, ensuring high-quality company consolidation, statutory reporting, and technical accounting compliance under IFRS.
The role operates across levels, supporting detailed preparation where required while also reviewing, guiding, and elevating the work of the team. It plays a critical role in maintaining reporting integrity in a dual-listed environment (OSE and NYSE), and in providing technical accounting leadership across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Group Consolidation & Reporting
- Execute and review monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation activities in FCCS, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation journal entries (CJE).
- Oversee and validate outputs prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and
- Step into and support detailed preparation for complex or high-risk
- Strengthen and standardise consolidation processes, controls, and documentation.
Statutory & External Reporting
- Lead and review group and company financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS. Support regulatory reporting requirements applicable to a US-listed entity, including SEC-aligned disclosures where relevant.

Technical Accounting
- Assess and conclude on complex and non-routine IFRS
- Prepare and review formal technical accounting memoranda, documenting conclusions and ensuring consistent application of group accounting
- Interpret and implement new and evolving IFRS standards across the
Team Oversight & Deputy Role
- Guide and support the team across business divisions, ensuring quality of
- Review and elevate team deliverables through technical direction and
- Act as deputy, stepping in to oversee processes, timelines, and stakeholder engagement when required.
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide and align financial reporting outputs with FP&A, treasury, tax, and other finance
- Partner and ensure operational finance outputs are complete and aligned prior to
- Act as a technical point of contact for finance and business stakeholders on financial reporting, projects, and accounting
Process & Systems
- Drive and enhance reporting processes, FCCS usage, and internal
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting efficiency and data
- Ensure consolidation and reporting processes operate within a SOX / ICFR-compliant control framework, including maintenance of documentation, evidence, and timely remediation of control findings.
Qualification & Skills
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting.
- Candidates with prior experience in an established audit firm or a similarly technical environment are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS with handson experience handling complex accounting matters.
- Practical experience using consolidation systems (e.g. FCCS or equivalent).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a control mindset.
- Familiarity with ICFR / SOX frameworks and a listed company environment; shipping or trading industry exposure is an advantage.
