Manager, AI Engineer

We are seeking an AI Engineer to support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of AI solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering with research and development, contributing to our AI strategy and innovation agenda.

The AI Engineer will work closely with IT, and cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions and products, ensure compliance with governance frameworks, and help position Prudential at the forefront of AI in the insurance industry.

Job Responsibilities:

AI Development and Quality Assurance:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of scalable AI solutions.

• Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and model optimisation.

• Fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy.

• Ensure alignment with Prudential's data protection, technology & AI risk and governance frameworks, and regulatory standards.

• Implement robust quality assurance processes to uphold high standards in AI delivery

Technical AI Domain Expertise:

• Conduct research and development (R&D) to current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and LLM frameworks.

• Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate AI solutions into business solutions.

• Contribute to a culture of innovation, continuous learning and knowledge sharing of AI.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.

• Strong foundation in data, AI and modern cloud infrastructure.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and libraries.

• Familiarity with MLOps and LLMOps practices.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Passion for innovation.

• Excellent command of English and Chinese (written and spoken)
