You will manage daytoday accounting operations, ensure highquality financial reporting, and drive process improvements while partnering with crossfunctional teams across the region.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, setting clear expectations and driving strong engagement and execution.

  • Own month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting aligned with corporate and group requirements.

  • Oversee general ledger integrity, including journal approvals, account reconciliations, fluctuation analysis, and compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local standards.

  • Manage statutory reporting and external audits, coordinating with auditors to deliver statutory financial statements and resolve audit issues proactively.

  • Drive compliance activities including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax filings, partnering with the regional tax team and supporting transfer pricing documentation.

  • Maintain fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring accurate capitalization, asset completeness, and alignment between local and group ledgers.

  • Support cash management activities such as cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliations, and collaboration with Treasury on banking matters.

  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives, strengthening internal controls and partnering with FP&A/business stakeholders to provide insights and support key projects.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ overall years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.

  • 3+ years of proven leadership/people management experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, statutory reporting, and audits.

  • Solid technical accounting expertise with working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, including ability to interpret complex standards.

  • Working knowledge of local tax and regulatory compliance (e.g., VAT, WHT, corporate income tax, statutory filings) and experience coordinating with tax teams/advisors.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong internal controls and documentation to meet corporate and audit requirements.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience driving process improvements in complex environments.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional and global teams, including the ability to explain accounting topics to non-finance partners.

  • Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced Excel skills fluent in English (additional regional languages are a plus).

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Professional qualificationsuch as CPA, CA, or equivalent.

  • Prior experience managingvarious APAC entities and exposure to multijurisdictional statutory reporting and tax.

  • Handson experience withSAPand finance process automation tools or analytics platforms.

  • Demonstrated success inleading transformation or standardization projects, such as process reengineering, system rollouts, or control framework enhancements.

  • Experience in thetechnology, semiconductor, or highgrowth environmentswhere scalability and continuous improvement are critical.
