Job Description

Make & Pack Manager oversees the daily operations at a production site, ensuring that all employees complete assigned tasks and that safety measures are enforced. The incumbent has to possess the experience in the manufacturing field, as well as the leadership abilities required to run production staff.

As Make and Pack Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage daily production operations to ensure targets for quantity, quality, and cost are achieved, while optimizing processes and improving efficiency. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budget planning, including training, resource allocation, and implementation of production plans.
  • Ensure product quality and compliance with ISO standards, working closely with Engineering to implement improvements and new methods. Collaborate with NPD teams to support successful product development and launches aligned with market needs.
  • Maintain and improve machinery performance, including repairs, upgrades, and coordination with Engineering for overhauls or replacements.
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare production reports, and ensure all targets are met while enforcing safety and housekeeping standards (5S3R).
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote safe behavior, and identify and mitigate workplace risks. Report incidents, unsafe conditions, and support continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.
  • Lead and develop team members, including training, performance management, and succession planning. Drive employee engagement, manage recruitment, and support team development.
  • Ensure adherence to IWS standards, lead execution of plans, and support continuous improvement within maintenance and leadership pillars.
  • Handle additional tasks and projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • 4–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management, with strong knowledge of production processes and workflows
  • Familiarity with IWS and TPM; advanced manufacturing knowledge is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and prioritization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels; fluency in English and Mandarin required
  • Demonstrated leadership, team collaboration, and ability to empower others to achieve goals
  • Proactive and analytical, with foresight to anticipate issues and implement effective solutions
