The Company

My client is a leading Insurer with more than 20 years of presence in the Asia region. Due to recent expansion into APAC, they are seeking a BDM for their HNW Business.

The Role

  • Achieve the Sales Target and associated business deliverables by aligning distributor activities with overarching corporate goals.
  • Cultivate high-value, long-term relationships while actively sourcing and securing new, profitable partnerships to expand market footprint.
  • Strategically develop existing distribution channels to significantly broaden TLB's overall market reach and service coverage.
  • Provide consistent mentorship and technical support to team members regarding product knowledge, illustrations, and effective sales techniques.
  • Maintain deep expertise in product innovations and significant shifts within the local insurance market to remain competitive.
  • Act as a vital feedback loop by translating market and distributor insights into actionable product development and ehancement initiatives.
  • Proactively oversee pipeline health, distributor performance, and regulatory compliance to mitigate risks and capitalize on growth trends.
  • Execute high-caliber training programs and oversee specialized projects to ensure distributors maintain top-tier sales standards and operational excellence.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 10 years of multiple channel business development relevant experience within the HNW insurance business
  • Product knowledge of HNW such as Universal Life, Index Universal Life, Variable Universal Life
