Job Responsibilities:
- Guarantee the best possible product availability, monitor inventory levels throughout APAC warehouses.
- Adjusting stock-holding tactics in response to demand projections and market knowledge.
- Work with international teams and 3PLs to modify and implement the inventory control process, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and auditing tasks.
- Achieve goal delivery lead times by leading APAC freight operations and optimizing freight consolidation.
- Collaborate closely with planning teams to ensure that 3PL resource planning and execution are in line with stock movement forecasts.
- Keep an eye on and evaluate logistical operations, stay under budgetary constraints, and adjust to changing company requirements.
- Serve as the main point of contact for 3PLs, fostering goodwill and overseeing co-packing initiatives.
- In order to fulfill agreed-upon SLs and timelines, oversee the SOP maintenance and remediation process with 3PLs.
- Work with 3PL partners to implement end-to-end warehouse operations continuous improvement projects.
- Verify monthly 3PL invoicing in accordance with contracts, and work with finance to arrange accruals.
- Utilize software and technology to generate regional insights and expedite inventory management.
- Working with cross-functional and external partners, analyze data to find patterns, hazards, and areas for improvement.
- Create and provide inventory and logistics performance reports on a regular basis to upper management.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain / logistics, or other related field preferred.
- More than 9+ years of experience in a comparable multi-site inventory management position
- A track record of improving operational performance and expertise dealing with logistics providers.
- Able to provide actual instances of accepting responsibility for initiatives and advancements all the way to completion.
- Exhibiting exceptional attention to detail and promptly recognizing and resolving irregularities
- Comprehension and commercial knowledge of supply and demand planning as well as the entire supply chain.
- It is essential to have familiarity with ERP, WMS, and POS systems, as well as to be IT-savvy and able to contribute knowledge of enhanced information sharing.
