About the job

We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. As our business continues to grow globally, we are looking for a Litigation & Dispute Resolution Counsel (m/f/d) to coordinate and manage corporate litigation, pre-suit disputes, and regulatory enforcement matters across our global organization.

In this role, you will partner closely with executive leadership and business teams to assess dispute exposure, develop effective resolution strategies, manage high-stakes commercial conflicts, and optimize legal spending while protecting the Group's reputation and supporting business continuity.

What you'll do

Global Litigation & Dispute Strategy:

• Develop and maintain global litigation playbooks, dispute handling policies, settlement guidelines, and legal risk frameworks.

• Formulate dispute resolution and defense strategies for complex commercial, intellectual property, product liability, and regulatory matters.

• Establish risk-based dispute review and litigation escalation procedures, including Delegation of Authority (DOA) frameworks for legal settlements.

• Lead early intake, pre-suit Early Case Assessment (ECA), internal fact-finding, and liability and damages analysis.

Litigation Operations & External Counsel Management:

• Lead global litigation operations, including external counsel selection, matter management, budgeting, and billing oversight.

• Select, evaluate, and manage external law firms to ensure high-quality, cost-effective legal support.

• Establish and monitor litigation budgets, billing guidelines, and fee arrangements to optimize legal spend.

• Oversee global eDiscovery workflows, document retention notices, and privilege management in accordance with applicable cross-border data privacy requirements.

Risk Management & Business Partnership:

• Lead cross-functional dispute risk reviews and advise business units on litigation avoidance, risk mitigation, and contract remediation.

• Partner with executive leadership and key business stakeholders to assess dispute exposure, settlement strategies, and potential business impact.

• Provide practical and commercially focused advice to help resolve disputes efficiently while protecting the Group's interests and reputation.

• Collaborate with regional and global legal teams on cross-border disputes and strategic legal initiatives.

• Perform other legal and dispute-related duties and projects as required to support the broader Group Legal function.

What you'll bring

• Qualified lawyer with 8–10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), specializing in commercial litigation, arbitration, or dispute resolution.

• Strong experience in commercial litigation, dispute strategy, and legal risk governance, ideally within a multinational or international business environment.

• Extensive experience managing cross-border commercial disputes, including complex claims involving multiple jurisdictions.

• Strong experience in eDiscovery governance, external counsel management, litigation budgeting, and legal spend management.

• Experience developing litigation frameworks, dispute management processes, or global legal governance is highly desirable.

• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural organization.

• Strong commercial judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex legal and business risks and develop practical solutions.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and regions.

• A proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach, with strong ownership and accountability.

• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic international organization.

What You'll Get:

  • Dynamic Global Environment: Gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing international company, with exposure to global best practices.
  • Professional Development: Grow your skills and career while being mentored by industry experts.
