Linux System Engineer

1. Strong experience in Red Hat Linux Administration with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting Linux servers
2. Experience in Data Center Operations, including rack installation, server mounting, hardware planning, deployment, and implementation.
3. Hands-on experience working in clustered environments, including package creation, failover, and failback management
4. Basic knowledge of Windows Server Administration, VMware virtualization, Storage, and Backup technologies
5. Proven experience in server provisioning, build, upgrade, and maintenance activities.
6. Provide on-site hands-and-eyes support for planned maintenance and infrastructure activities during maintenance windows.

• Perform daily health checks and monitoring of critical systems within the Data Center environment

• Experience in Data Center Operations, including rack installation, server mounting, hardware planning, deployment, and implementation

• Experience managing the complete Data Center lifecycle, including design, build, migration, and decommissioning activities

• Skilled in the configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of various Data Center infrastructure devices

• Strong experience in vendor coordination and customer interactions to ensure smooth service delivery

• Experience in IT Asset Management, Reporting, and IT Service Management processes

• Good understanding of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management

• Ability to provide port, power, and cable connectivity status and support as required

• Experience configuring devices through console access with support from relevant technical teams

• Provide on-site hands-and-eyes support for planned maintenance and infrastructure activities during maintenance windows

• Good Oral and Written Communication Skill
