As The Glasshouse continues its evolution, we are seeking a creative, culturally connected and commercially minded Lifestyle Programming Manager to shape and execute a dynamic calendar of experiences that establish The Glasshouse as one of Taipei's most compelling lifestyle destinations.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Lifestyle Programming Manager serves as the cultural and experiential lead for The Glasshouse.
This role is responsible for curating distinctive lifestyle, music, arts, spirits, and luxury brand experiences that strengthen The Glasshouse's position as a leading destination for culture, creativity and connection in Taipei.
Working closely with Marketing, Food & Beverage and external collaborators, the Lifestyle Programming Manager develops strategic partnerships, activates meaningful brand experiences, and creates programming that drives guest engagement, brand relevance and destination appeal.
While the Director of Bars oversees beverage strategy and commercial performance, and the Bar Operations Manager is responsible for day-to-day outlet operations and service delivery, this role is focused on creating compelling reasons for guests to discover, return to and engage with The Glasshouse.
THE ROLE
1. Lifestyle Programming & Cultural Curation
- Serve as the creative lead for all lifestyle programming and experiential initiatives across The Glasshouse.
- Develop and execute an annual calendar of cultural, music, cocktail, arts and luxury lifestyle experiences.
- Curate signature events, seasonal activations and limited-edition experiences that reinforce the identity of The Glasshouse.
- Research emerging cultural, entertainment and luxury lifestyle trends and translate them into distinctive guest experiences.
- Ensure all programming reflects the sophistication, creativity and storytelling synonymous with the Capella brand.
2. Venue Activation
Tilt
- Curate experiences celebrating Taiwan's terroir, ingredients and cocktail culture.
- Develop collaborations with acclaimed bartenders, distilleries, beverage partners and culinary talent.
Playback
- Curate music-led programming including vinyl listening sessions, artist collaborations, DJ residencies and intimate performances.
- Build a distinctive entertainment programme aligned with Playback's identity and audience.
Cooper
- Curate premium whisky, Champagne and rare spirits experiences.
- Develop intimate invitation-only programmes for collectors, enthusiasts and VIP guests.
3. Partnerships & Community Engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with luxury brands, spirit houses, artists, musicians, cultural institutions and creative communities.
- Identify and secure partnership opportunities that elevate the visibility and reputation of The Glasshouse.
- Negotiate and manage collaboration agreements, sponsorships and strategic brand partnerships.
- Build a network of tastemakers, creators and industry influencers that contribute to the ongoing evolution of The Glasshouse.
4. Brand Positioning & Storytelling
- Partner closely with Marketing and Public Relations teams to maximise awareness and engagement for programming initiatives.
- Support the development of content, storytelling, photography and promotional materials related to experiences and activations.
- Contribute to positioning The Glasshouse as one of Taipei's most sought-after destinations for cocktails, music, culture and luxury lifestyle experiences.
- Generate opportunities for earned media, social engagement and brand exposure through innovative programming.
5. Planning & Project Management
- Develop programming strategies, event briefs, timelines and activation plans.
- Coordinate with operational teams to ensure smooth execution of all experiences and activations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Food & Beverage, Marketing, Finance and external partners to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and brand standards.
6. Performance & Commercial Contribution
- Develop annual programming budgets and partnership proposals.
- Measure programme effectiveness through participation, engagement, brand visibility, partnership outcomes and commercial contribution.
- Analyse guest feedback and event performance to identify opportunities for continuous enhancement.
- Recommend innovative initiatives that strengthen guest loyalty and destination appeal.
TALENT PROFILE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lifestyle programming, experiential marketing, luxury hospitality, nightlife, cultural events, entertainment or related industries.
- Proven success in creating, curating and executing innovative guest experiences, activations and strategic partnerships.
- Strong project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication, networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of luxury hospitality, music, arts, beverage culture, entertainment and lifestyle trends.
- Strong network within hospitality, beverage, music, arts, luxury brands or creative communities.
- Experience working with luxury hospitality brands, members clubs, premium bars, cultural institutions, lifestyle destinations or experiential brands is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Taiwan's cultural, cocktail and entertainment landscape would be advantageous.
- Experience in digital content, social media, influencer engagement or experiential marketing is an asset.
- Highly creative, culturally curious and commercially minded.
- Proficiency in English is required; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when required to support programming activities.
