Our client is a well-established international life insurer with over 125 years of presence in Singapore, operating as part of a globally recognised financial services group headquartered in North America. They offer a comprehensive suite of life insurance, health, retirement, and wealth management solutions serving individual, group, and high-net-worth client segments across Singapore.

The organisation is currently in an active phase of operational transformation, having recently invested in building a dedicated AI and automation capability to modernise its underwriting, policy servicing, and back-office operations. This creates a strong environment for SMEs who are keen to contribute to meaningful process re-engineering and system improvement initiatives rather than purely steady-state operations work.

New Business (Insurance Operations Business Analyst)

You will serve as the functional SME for New Business operations, supporting process re-engineering, system enhancements, and change management initiatives to drive operational efficiency across the end-to-end policy onboarding lifecycle.

  • Serve as the operational SME for new business workflows spanning e-submission, underwriting support, document verification, risk assessment, and policy issuance across individual and group life products
  • Map and design customer journeys across new business platforms and back-end systems identify process gaps and recommend system enhancements to improve straight-through processing (STP) rates and issuance turnaround
  • Gather and validate business requirements from distribution, underwriting, compliance, and IT teams contribute to BRD sign-off, UAT planning and execution, and post-implementation review
  • Support product development initiatives by defining system and process requirements for new product launches, performing impact analysis on existing workflows, and ensuring readiness for production rollout
  • Ensure all process and system changes comply with regulatory requirements and internal risk controls support internal and external audit activities
  • Provide training and operational guidance to staff and distribution partners on new business rules, process changes, and system updates

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of insurance operations experience with hands-on knowledge of new business and policy issuance processes
  • Familiarity with core policy administration systems strong documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Able to onboard in July 2026
