Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned in-house counsel to join our team. You will serve as the primary legal contact for the business team, supporting commercial contracts and handling disputes, litigation, and day-to-day legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

Contracts & Legal Advice: Act as the main point of contact for the business team on legal matters. Review a wide range of contracts and draft legal documents to reduce legal risk and enable business initiatives.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation: Manage and handle disputes and litigation, including intellectual property, consumer, and labor matters.

Compliance: Ensure the business complies with laws and regulations applicable to the e-commerce industry, including data privacy, consumer protection, advertising regulations, payment, and intellectual property. Monitor and track e-commerce-related legal and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer licensed in Taiwan.
• At least 5 years of experience at a law firm or in an in-house legal role, preferably with both transactional and litigation expertise.
• Working knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to e-commerce operations, including competition law, labor, corporate, data privacy, consumer protection, advertising, payment, and intellectual property, etc.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
