- Provide timely, proactive, and practical legal advice to all areas of the business in Taiwan, ensuring alignment with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a broad spectrum of business documents including tenders, sale and purchase agreements, and other contracts arising from daily operations.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and compliance obligations relevant to the business, offering guidance and escalating issues when necessary to protect organisational interests.
- Advise on corporate governance matters to ensure best practices are maintained throughout the company's operations.
- Deliver internal training sessions on regulatory compliance requirements as well as general legal and risk management topics to enhance organisational awareness.
- Manage claims and disputes efficiently by liaising with external counsel, regulators, and internal stakeholders as required.
- Support strategic projects by providing insightful legal input that enables sustainable business growth while mitigating risks.
- Handle any additional assignments delegated by senior legal leadership to contribute positively to team objectives.
