About Your Company
King Deux is partnering with a leading venture capital in identifying a Legal Counsel for one its acquired portfolio in Taiwan. This role will support a broad range of legal matters across corporate governance, financial regulations, and strategic transactions. Experience in the cryptocurrency or digital asset space is a plus.
About your role
- Provide legal support for corporate actions, including board matters, capital increases, and shareholder-related transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements
- Handle securities law compliance and regulatory filings
- Support venture fund management, including fund structuring, documentation, and compliance matters
- Assist in M&A transactions, including due diligence, structuring, and execution
- Independently manage and lead meetings with external counterparties, including law firms, regulators, investors, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and advise on developments in financial regulations and compliance requirements
What you will need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); advanced degree (LL.M.) is a plus
- Minimum 5+ years of legal experience, preferably in financial services, capital markets, or corporate law
- Solid knowledge of financial laws, securities regulations, and corporate governance
- Experience in venture capital / financial companies/ listed financial companies is preferred
- Prior exposure to cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital assets is an advantage
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with external stakeholders and regulators
- Fluent in English and Chinese
