Job Description

About the opportunity

A well-established organisation is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its in-house legal team. This is a strong opportunity for lawyers currently in private practice who are looking to make their first move in-house and gain broad commercial exposure.

Key responsibilities

. Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, service, supplier and customer contracts.

. Provide practical and commercially focused legal advice.

. Support corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.

. Assist with claims, disputes and the management of external counsel.

. Maintain legal templates, contract records and internal approval processes.

. Collaborate closely with stakeholders across different business functions.

Requirements

. Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore or another recognised common-law jurisdiction.

. Less than 4 years of post-qualification experience.

. Relevant commercial or corporate experience gained in private practice and/or an in-house role.

. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.

. Commercially minded, organised and keen to understand the business.

. Lawyers seeking their first move from private practice into an in-house role are strongly encouraged to apply.
