Job Description

Job Summary

This role supports Live Nation Taiwan by reviewing, drafting, preparing, and administering a high volume of contracts and legal documents for concerts and live events. You will help manage disputes, maintain disciplined contract processes, support corporate administration, and coordinate selected government relations and permit related workflows. The ideal candidate is meticulous, responsive under time pressure, and able to communicate legal risk in practical business terms.

THE JOB

Concerts move quickly, and legal issues often surface late and loudly. You will be the person who keeps contract language precise, deal execution clean, and documentation organized, so that touring, marketing, finance, ticketing, production, and venue operations can deliver shows with clarity and confidence. This is an early career role with meaningful ownership, strong learning exposure, and frequent interaction with internal stakeholders and external partners.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Review and redline artist and performance agreements, promoter arrangements, venue agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, sponsorship and brand partnership documentation, NDAs, MOUs, and other commercial documents.
  • Draft agreements and short form addenda using company templates, ensuring terms are enforceable, consistent, and operationally executable.
  • Prepare clean execution copies, manage signature workflows, and ensure correct legal entity naming, signatory authority, and document completeness.
  • Create contract summaries for internal teams, highlighting key terms, obligations, deadlines, payment triggers, deliverables, and risk areas.
  • Track contract obligations after signature, including milestone dates, notice requirements, deliverables approvals, confidentiality obligations, insurance requirements, and termination mechanics.
  • Partner with finance on payment schedules, withholding and invoicing logic, and documentation needed for vendor onboarding and settlement workflows.
  • Support dispute management by collecting facts and documents, drafting internal chronologies, coordinating with external counsel, and assisting with settlement or remediation steps.
  • Maintain disciplined contract filing and version control, including standardized naming, storage, and audit ready documentation practices.
  • Support corporate administration tasks as assigned, such as maintaining corporate records, assisting with basic filings, and preparing internal governance documentation.
  • Coordinate selected government relations and permit related workflows, including correspondence support, document preparation, and tracking regulatory touchpoints relevant to live events.
  • Help improve templates, playbooks, and contract processes to reduce turnaround time while strengthening risk consistency.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required

  • Bachelor degree in Law or a closely related discipline.
  • One to two years of experience in a law firm or in house legal or contracts role, with meaningful exposure to contract review and drafting.
  • Fluent English and Mandarin, written and spoken, with confidence conducting working conversations and producing professional written communications in both languages.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable follow through, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Comfort translating legal risk into clear options and next steps for non legal stakeholders.
  • High integrity and discretion with sensitive commercial and personal information.

Preferred

  • Experience in entertainment, media, sports, events, ticketing, or venue operations environments.
  • Familiarity with clauses common to live events, including cancellations, force majeure, deposits, liability caps, indemnities, insurance, intellectual property, publicity rights, confidentiality, and dispute resolution mechanics.
  • Experience coordinating with external counsel, government bodies, or industry associations on documentation and compliance related matters.
  • Comfort improving templates and processes, including contract trackers, standardized summaries, and document management hygiene.
