Childcare, Elderly and Community Services Discipline

Major Duties:
(a)
To perform teaching duties including supervision of student projects and fieldwork placement
(b)
To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration
(c)
To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials
(d)
To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and
(e)
To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions.
Requirements:
(a)
A recognised degree in Social Work, preferably with a post-graduate qualification
(b)
A registered Social Worker under the Social Workers Registration Board, with at least 5 years post-degree experience in Social Work practice and
(c)
Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
Notes:
(1)
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment.
(2)
The appointee may be required to perform duties outside normal working hours and/or outside campus.
