| Major Duties: |
| (a) | To perform teaching duties such as supervision of students projects and fieldwork placement |
| (b) | To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration |
| (c) | To develop programme curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment materials |
| (d) | To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes and |
| (e) | To participate in networking with industry / industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions, including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions. |

| Requirements: |
| (a) | A relevant recognised degree or professional qualification, preferably with a post-graduate qualification |
| (b) | At least 3 years relevant teaching and/or industry experience at supervisory level in aviation industry with focus on airport operations, such as terminal operations, airport ramp services, airline planning / operations, air cargo operations, security and safety, air navigation, and/or airport commercial operations |
| (c) | Solid knowledge of industry regulations (sound understanding of ICAO / IATA regulations are preferable), safety protocols and best practices in the respective fields is required |
| (d) | Good communication, teaching and presentation skills in both English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua |
| (e) | A good team player with a proactive attitude |
| (f) | Preferably with knowledge and experience in curriculum and new module development and |
| (g) | Good records of linkage with industry or professional bodies and/or good understanding of Vocational and Professional Education and Training (VPET) would be an advantage. |

| (2) | Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. |
| (3) | Shortlisted candidate(s) will be required to attend a written assessment. |
| (4) | The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus. |
