The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Sr. Metrology Program Management Engineer to join its APS Division Global Metrology team in KSP, Kaohsiung, TW. In this role, he or she will focus on driving standardization of in-process metrology used in APS Division of Entegris. The Sr. Engineer serves as a subject matter expert on process and products release test tools, including Flow rate, Diffusion, and Bubble Point, etc, and provide solutions to technical issues in those testing tools. He or she will be the global metrology representative in APS Division to enforce in-process metrology standardization to ensure reliable and consistent test results across all plants. The successful candidate will manage the test standardization program and develop long term strategies to implement the standardized test methods in APS's plants by working closely with our global teams of Quality, NPI, Operation, and R&D to support the organization's strategic direction.

In this role you will:

  • The role will manage the test standardization program and develop long term strategies to implement the standardized test methods in APS's manufactories
  • Serves as a subject matter expert to provide solutions to technical issues on process and products release test tools, including Flow rate, Diffusion, and Bubble Point tests, etc.
  • Enforce testing method alignment to ensure reliable and consistent test results across all plants and processes
  • Work with QE to design plan to qualify testing tools
  • Coordinate on new test method/SOP development and testing tool V&Q qualification

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

  • B.S. or master's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or other related fields
  • 6+ years working experience with 2+ years project management experience within global organizations serving the semiconductor or other high-tech industry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop & implement a project specific communication plan
  • Experience with Gauge R&R design is desired
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and strong passion on learning new testing techniques
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative working environment
  • Ability to travel to different geographic locations
  • Process quality improvement certification (Six Sigma, DFSS, etc.) is a plus.

  • The ability to develop the strategy and plan for the process test standardization and work with different function teams to successfully execute the plan
  • Ability to manage the standardization program and influence others while driving process tests optimization
  • Openness to all ideas and able to synthesize input for creative and successful problem-solving on technical issues
  • Ability to learn quickly and become proficient on all process testing techniques
  • Ability to communicate up, down, and across the organization with project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership
