Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases for telecom/networks products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct functional, performance, and compatibility testing of products to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide valuable insights for product enhancement.
- Utilize testing tools and equipment to perform thorough testing and validation of hardware components and systems.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work proactively to during troubleshoot and problems identify.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings accurately for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a high level of quality assurance throughout the testing process and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Offer technical guidance to junior team members, possesses an open-minded approach, and demonstrates strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Having a solid grasp of telecommunication/networks products, protocols, and network architecture.
- Awareness of industry trends and standards facilitating. Solid background on ETSI, NEBS, ISTA standards.
- Having the capability to leverage industry-specific expertise for efficient testing and validation of telecom systems and products.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards throughout testing.
- Proactive approach to process improvement, focus on continuous learning and adaptation to evolving methodologies.
- Focus on continuous learning and adaptation to stay updated with evolving testing methodologies and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in using automation testing tools, ability to create and maintain automated test scripts for testing.
- Understanding of automation frameworks for enhanced test coverage and reliability.
- Proven track record of quickly identifying and resolving issues during testing phases.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems systematically, leading to efficient bug resolution.
- Skill in utilizing debugging tools and techniques to pinpoint root causes of issues.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, productive collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues to achieve common testing objectives and deliver high-quality results.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years experience in telecom/networks product validation, including test plan development, execution, and analysis.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
