Job Description
- Lead manufacturing automation projects from design to implementation and commissioning
- Own and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems
- Drive smart manufacturing initiatives, including IoT applications and manufacturing digitalization projects
- Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and global teams to improve operational efficiency and equipment performance
- Support facility expansion and capacity growth through automation system integration
- Manage automation system documentation, validation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle improvements
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement sustainable improvement solutions
- Participate in system integration across manufacturing platforms and operational technologies
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related disciplines
- 10-15+ years of experience in manufacturing automation, process control, or industrial engineering environments
- Hands-on experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Exposure to IoT, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, or Digital Transformation initiatives
- Experience supporting facility expansion, greenfield, or brownfield projects is highly preferred
- Injection molding, blow molding, plastics processing, or related manufacturing experience will be a strong advantage
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Comfortable working with global teams in English
- Self-driven, collaborative, and able to work effectively in cross-functional environments
