Job Description

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Design Engineer to spearhead the design and development of server and storage hardware solutions. This role involves leading a team, driving design reviews, and ensuring the successful execution of projects from concept to production.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Lead and mentor a team of design engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Drive the end-to-end design and development of server and storage hardware boards, from high-level architecture to low-level implementation.
  • Conduct thorough data assessment and analysis to inform design decisions and optimize performance.
  • Perform comprehensive design reviews, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee debugging processes to identify and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
  • Contribute to system-level design, ensuring seamless integration of hardware components.
  • Effectively communicate design concepts, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Lead by influence, motivating team members and cross-functional partners towards common goals.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.

Job Qualifications**

  • Proven experience in Board Development, specifically in Hardware Board level Design for server and/or storage systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in High-Level Design and Low-Level Design (LLD) principles.
  • Strong understanding of System Level Design and integration challenges.
  • Proficiency in Data Assessment and analysis techniques relevant to hardware design.
  • Extensive experience with Debugging methodologies for complex hardware.
  • Solid background in conducting and participating in Design Reviews.
  • Exceptional Team Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in Team Management and Leading by Influence.
