Our client, a leading global consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join its growing AI and Advanced Analytics practice in Singapore. This is an opportunity to work with some of the region's largest telecommunications and financial services organisations, helping them solve complex business challenges through machine learning, predictive analytics, and Generative AI.

As a trusted advisor to clients, you will lead the design and delivery of data science solutions that drive measurable commercial impact, while mentoring high-performing teams and shaping the future of AI-enabled transformation.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of advanced analytics and machine learning engagements across telecommunications and financial services clients
• Develop and deploy predictive models focused on customer acquisition, retention, cross-sell, upsell, churn reduction, and customer lifetime value
• Design and implement Customer Value Management (CVM) strategies using advanced analytics and behavioural insight
• Build propensity models and recommendation engines to optimise customer engagement and revenue growth
• Drive the adoption of Generative AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications, intelligent automation, and AI-enabled customer experience
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to identify business opportunities and translate them into scalable data science solutions
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and consultants
• Communicate complex analytical findings to executive-level audiences and influence strategic decision-making
• Contribute to business development activities, solution design, and thought leadership initiatives within the AI and analytics practice

What We're Looking For

• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics
• Strong domain expertise within either Telecommunications or Financial Services
• Proven experience delivering Customer Value Management (CVM) initiatives and customer analytics programmes
• Deep expertise in propensity modelling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and customer lifecycle analytics
• Practical experience designing and implementing Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and modern machine learning frameworks
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments
• Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills with the ability to engage senior business leaders
• Experience leading teams and managing complex client engagements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
