Land Surveyor

Job Descriptions

• To coordinate and liaise with registered surveyor with the approval from the Project Manager and Land Survey Manager (or Chief Surveyor).
• Perform and check all surveying works including setting out survey points and levels on construction sites.
• Surveying, establishing demarcations and guide for construction to proceed, verifies accuracy of survey data, measurement and calculations.
• Ensure correctness of built up according to construction plans and drawing including routine check on alignment and level during the construction period and feedback to Project Manager if there is any fault for earlier rectification.
• Assist, align and compliment Structural & Civil Engineering works and to ensure all alignment and level are within the tolerance limit.
• Perform pre and post survey and prepareAs-Built Survey point including submission to the registered surveyor for endorsement.
• To protect and upkeep all survey instruments of the company, monitors and arranges surveying instruments for calibrations.
• Attends site progress meetings when necessary and assist in carrying out relevant site measurements for computation of interim and final quantities of work done.
• Oversee quality control of survey data and safety matters on the site and to ensure Environmental, Safety & Health (EHS) practices are carried out at all time.
• Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.
