Lab Officer (Immediate/ 5 days/ conveniate location)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Regular inventory management in labs, including stocktaking, replenishing, repair, and replacement.

2. Assist operation departments in liaising with vendors in procurement for inventory management.

3. Organize resources neatly with labels and stickers according to the practice.

4. Liaise with the departments for issuing POs and receiving inspection.

5. Liaise with vendors in procurement, equipment installation, schedule of repair, and on-site checking.

6. Coordinate and ensure timely calibration and PM schedule of laboratory equipment/ instruments.

7. Perform general checking for lab cleaning and housekeeping regularly.

8. Manage lab coat laundry and waste disposal schedule.

9. Conduct regular safety inspections and organize safety training-related activities and events.

10. Interface with various departments and engineers to ensure process safety delivery.

11. Manage Process Safety Performance Measurement and Analysis and conduct monthly safety review.
12. Uphold safety and quality standards in the laboratory environment, adhering to the ISO 13485 Standard or required guidelines.
13. Undertake lab-related ad-hoc duties might assigned.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Biological Science, or an engineering-related field of study.

2. Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience in a chemistry laboratory environment.

3. Familiar with hazard identification, risk analyses, and assessment methodologies or with ISO 9001 and/or ISO45001.

4. Good knowledge of industry standards and practices relevant to laboratory safety.

5. Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

6. Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

7. Independent and a good team player.

8. Highly committed with a good service-oriented attitude.

Job Type: Full-time/ contract.

Convenient location: Near Jurong East MRT station.

Working Hours: 5 days/week. Office hours OT not required.
