What You'll Do
- Develops and manages strategic partnerships with key customers and internal stakeholders to deliver sustainable business growth and long-term value creation.
- Leads customer business planning by identifying growth opportunities through analysis of market trends, shopper insights, customer performance, and competitive activities.
- Drives Joint Business Planning (JBP) with assigned accounts, including commercial, promotional, distribution, and sustainability initiatives to achieve agreed business objectives.
- Delivers sales, market share, profitability, distribution, trade return, collection, and service level targets across assigned accounts.
- Manages trade investment and account profitability through effective commercial planning, negotiation, and resource optimization.
- Oversees day-to-day account management and operational execution across fast-paced retail and multi-store environments, ensuring high execution standards.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure timely execution, stock availability, promotional readiness, and operational alignment.
- Tracks business performance and campaign effectiveness, driving continuous improvement through actionable insights and post-evaluation learnings.
- Coordinates business reviews, customer engagements, and strategic alignment sessions with key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Ideally, candidate with 5 years and above of experience working with key accounts in modern trade for FMCG companies (Supermarket, Hypermarket, Minimarket, Convenience, Petrol, eCommerce etc.)
- Strong analytical skills are a must.
- Ability to work independently and take the initiative.
- Great communication and people skills for engaging with both internal teams and external partners. Ability to multiple tasks and being a good team player.
- Good grasp of the local FMCG market, including shopper and consumer trends.
- Able to work well with people at all levels.
- Skillful in identifying business needs, opportunities, and risks.
- Capable of developing and implementing effective strategies and plans.
- Experience managing consumer and trade promotions, from planning to execution and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across different departments.
- Strong project management abilities with a focus on follow-through.
- Leadership skills and experience in managing people is a plus.
