Position : Junior System Test Engineer
Location : KL, Malaysia

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior System Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and executing test cases, test procedures, and test suites to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end testing activities, including planning, execution, reporting, and delivery.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective test strategies, test plans, and test documentation.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to promote quality assurance best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects and issues.
- Drive the adoption of automated testing, code quality metrics, and bug prevention strategies.
- Perform web application testing and validate system functionality across multiple environments.
- Conduct data validation and verification activities within large-scale data platforms.
- Maintain and support testing environments and server setups.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or System Testing.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in analyzing, designing, implementing, and executing test cases, test procedures, and test suites.
- Hands-on experience with Web Application Testing and Automation Testing.
Technical Skills
Test Automation
- Experience with Cypress and Playwright using JavaScript.
- Experience with Selenium, HP UFT, or other test automation tools.
- Ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
Databases
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, ClickHouse, or similar database technologies.
- Experience in database testing, SQL querying, and data validation.
Big Data Technologies
- Exposure to Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or similar Big Data platforms.
- Experience in data validation within large-scale data environments is preferred.
Operating Systems & Scripting
- Working knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
- Basic scripting and command-line experience.
