We+ is supporting an insurance client in Taiwan on the ongoing development and maintenance of its Policy Management System (PMS).
We are looking for a Junior System Developer to contribute to functional and technical specifications and support application implementation, quality, and performance.
⇒ Main Responsibilities
- Develop programs in line with user requirements, design specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Deliver programs on schedule, within budget, and to the expected quality standard, escalating risks to schedule, cost, or quality promptly.
- Ensure compliance with relevant norms and standards.
- Support test and acceptance phases, and implement fixes for identified defects.
- Draft release documentation and monitor releases.
- Apply professional knowledge and experience to judge and resolve operational issues, including identifying and troubleshooting production issues.
- Contribute improvement suggestions within own area of work.
- Maintain documentation and processes accordingly.
⇒ Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- 1–2 years of development and maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming (Java, .NET, or database scripting) and Crystal Reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- LOMA 280 & 290 certification.
