Job Description

Applicants should have (i) a completed secondary education or above, with Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B) OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, Attained or above in AL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subject (ii) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (iii) proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.) (iv) good communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills with detail-oriented mindset (v) a mature, self-motivated and responsible work attitude (vi) willingness to learn and (vii) the ability to work independently and collaboratively with other team members.

The appointee will be responsible for (a) assisting in procurement and logistics (b) providing assistance in financial administration (c) assisting in laboratory safety and organisation (d) providing assistance in basic equipment maintenance and experiment setup and (e) performing other tasks as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to funding availability, good performance and mutual agreement.
