Purchasing Officer (Fresh Graduates)

Our client is global leader in travel amenity industry partnering with major brands to create a diverse range of products tailored to their specific needs. They are currently looking for an outstanding Purchasing Officer to join the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the procurement process for amenity kits and comfort items (textiles).
• Assist the purchasing team in managing inquiries and projects with suppliers and partners.
• Support the product development process by coordinating quotations and samples in alignment with customer specifications.
• Oversee cost management and budget control for projects and developments.
• Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Develop and source new products as directed by the department.
• Manage and track shipments in collaboration with forwarders and factories.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination with relevant internal departments.
• Travel for business purposes may be required.

Qualifications:

• Higher diploma or associate degree in Merchandising, Supply Chain, Textiles, or related fields.
• 0 - 1 year of working experience in purchasing or sourcing (experience in textiles, amenity bags, or cosmetics is advantageous). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin is essential.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
