As part of our continued growth in Asia Pacific, Keyrus is looking for a Junior Business Analyst / Data Analyst to join our team in Taipei, Taiwan, supporting a major client in the industrial sector.

Role Summary

The Junior Business Analyst / Data Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical specialists to understand business requirements, analyze operational data and support the delivery of data-driven solutions.

The role is suitable for an early-career professional who combines strong analytical skills with an interest in business processes, data and technology.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

* Gather and document business requirements through meetings and workshops with users and project stakeholders.

* Understand existing business processes, operational challenges and reporting needs.

* Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories and process documentation.

* Support communication and coordination between business and technical teams.

* Assist with user acceptance testing, issue tracking and solution validation.

* Prepare meeting notes, project documentation and progress updates.

Data Analysis

* Collect, review and analyze operational and business data from different sources.

* Perform data validation, cleansing and reconciliation activities.

* Identify trends, inconsistencies and opportunities for process improvement.

* Develop reports, dashboards and data visualizations to support business decision-making.

* Support the definition of data requirements, business rules and key performance indicators.

* Assist users in understanding and adopting new reports and analytical solutions.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field.

* Approximately one to three years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, reporting or a related role.

* Good understanding of business processes, data analysis and reporting concepts.

* Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.

* Exposure to visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms is preferred.

* Ability to document requirements and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

* Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.

* Based in Taipei or able to work regularly from the client's office in Taipei.

* Experience in the industrial, manufacturing or engineering sector would be an advantage.
