Job Description

About the Company

A leading global digital finance platform with operations spanning multiple international markets and a fast-growing regulatory footprint. The company is scaling its legal and compliance function as a strategic priority, not a support seat. Full company details shared with shortlisted candidates.

What You'll Do

  • Handle daily compliance work spanning marketing review and data privacy
  • Check marketing campaigns and promotional content for compliance issues before they go live, including required disclosures
  • Keep data protection documentation current and evaluate cross-border data transfer risk
  • Support privacy impact assessments as new products or campaigns roll out
  • Watch regulatory changes across the business's markets and turn them into practical internal updates
  • Serve as the go-between with external counsel — following up on outstanding items and boiling their advice down into a clear recommendation
  • Process data subject access requests and manage the correspondence that comes with them
  • Keep compliance training content current and easy to use
  • Take the first pass on compliance questions from the business, doing the legwork before anything gets escalated
  • Contribute ideas to improve how the compliance function runs day to day

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years experience in fintech, capital markets, or a regulated environment (law firm, regulator, or in-house compliance)
  • Strong writing and research skills, with the judgment to move fast without sacrificing accuracy
  • A self-starter who doesn't need a fully scoped brief to get moving
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities without losing quality under pressure
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English, comfortable drafting legal/compliance content in both
