Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have**

(Ideally should not be more than 3-5)

• Java technologies; Java/Spring/ Spring boot Microservices system and service architecture.
• API integrations,
• Cloud native architecture, AWS, and Azure.
• Architecting CI/CD and Shift Left pipelines

Good-to-Have

• Infrastructure Provisioning using Terraform/Ansible.
• Gen AI/Agentic AI experience.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1 Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot

2 Experienced Java Spring Boot Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with a focus on building high-performance and secure enterprise applications

3 Experience in API integrations, and cloud native architectures.

4 Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms, including migration strategies.

5 Architecting CI/CD and Shift Left pipelines

6 Knowledge of data governance, compliance (e.g. GDPR), and security best

practices.

7 Experience with infrastructure and operational architecture, service design,

and prototyping.

8 Ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation and artefacts.

9 Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
