Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Backend API Developer with strong full-stack development capabilities to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about writing clean, maintainable code, follows modern software engineering best practices, and has hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and enhance full-stack applications using React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Build robust backend services with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB for transactional and NoSQL data storage.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Design applications with resilience in mind by implementing comprehensive error handling, logging, monitoring, and failure recovery mechanisms.
- Create and maintain automated unit tests, integration tests, and acceptance tests to ensure software quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design sessions.
- Follow Git branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile software development methodologies.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications based on modern architectural principles, including immutable infrastructure and microservices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and implement continuous improvements.
- Produce technical documentation, API specifications, and implementation guides where required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java (latest version) and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
- Experience writing comprehensive unit, integration, and automated acceptance tests.
