IT Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of cybersecurity assessment projects, including penetration testing, red teaming, purple teaming, and bespoke engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of cybersecurity projects, from planning through execution to closure
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure on-time delivery
• Oversee project logistics, including environment setup, tool readiness, and client coordination
• Identify risks, resolve issues proactively, and ensure smooth project execution
• Plan, track, and manage project budgets while ensuring cost efficiency and optimal resource utilisation
• Manage cybersecurity tools and platforms, including licensing, usage, and cost control
• Evaluate and recommend new tools or improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and outcomes
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and internal standards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, reports, and deliverables
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, workflows, and overall delivery quality

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience managing complex projects in cybersecurity or IT consulting
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
• Experience in budget planning, cost control, and resource optimisation
• Working understanding of cybersecurity domains such as penetration testing and red teaming
