Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Operations Engineer to support and maintain IT infrastructure with a focus on R&D engineering tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, Allegro, OrCAD, Altium Designer and CAE tools. This role involves ensuring the stability and performance of engineering applications, managing licensing servers, supporting engineering users, and collaborating closely with R&D and CAD/CAE teams to optimize the design environment. Key Responsibilities . Provide IT operations support for core R&D design tools including Creo, SolidWorks, Allegro, OrCAD, Altium Designer, CAE tools and ECAD/MCAD platforms. . Troubleshoot issues related to CAD/CAE applications, integration, and performance. . Monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization platforms. . Work with Infra team and engineering teams to configure, deploy, and maintain tool updates, patches, and configurations. . Collaborate with R&D to support PLM integration and data management systems(e.g., Windchill). . Document technical configurations, procedures, and support guides for design tool environments. . Ensure high availability and business continuity of engineering systems through backups and redundancy. Required Skills and Qualifications . Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. . 2+ years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or engineering IT support. . Hands-on experience supporting Creo, SolidWorks, Allegro, OrCAD, Altium Designer tools and CAE tool. . Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments. . Experience with virtualization(e.g., VMware), networking basics, and backup systems. . Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, especially in technical design environments. . Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams.
