Job Description

Established in 1987 and headquartered in Taiwan, TSMC pioneered the pure-play foundry business model with an exclusive focus on manufacturing its customers products. As of 2024, TSMC serves more than 500 customers and manufactures over 11,000 products for high-performance computing, smartphones, the Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, and digital consumer electronics. It is the world's largest provider of logic ICs, with an annual capacity of 16 million 12-inch equivalent wafers. TSMC operates fabs in Taiwan as well as manufacturing subsidiaries in Washington State, Japan and China, and the Company began construction on a specialty technology fab in Dresden, Germany, in 2024. In Arizona, TSMC is building three fabs, with the first starting 4nm production in 2025, the second by 2028, and the third by the end of the decade.

TSMC IT is seeking experienced Telecommunications Engineers to spearhead the deployment of radio and landline telecom systems for our new manufacturing facilities, while also maintaining and optimizing current systems. This role is perfect for professionals with deep expertise in 4G/5G network architecture and substantial experience in managing large-scale projects.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and plan radio access networks and landline systems for TSMC's new factories.

2. Collaborate with TSMC teams to deliver and maintain telecom systems.

3. Manage projects and effectively engage with suppliers.

4. Optimize existing telecom systems to ensure seamless business operations.

5. Diagnose system issues and implement preventive measures.

3. On-site personality and English test (which could be substituted with the result of an official English proficiency test)

Job Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

1. Demonstrated industry experience with a strong grasp of radio access networks, including LTE and NR.

2. Experience deploying or managing radio access networks and landline telephony systems in commercial buildings or factories.

3. Hands-on experience in maintaining digital and analog telephone systems, such as PBX or Session Border Controller.

4. Strong project management skills with excellent communication and collaboration capabilities.

5. Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, including designing and managing enterprise-level communication networks.

6. Basic programming experience for scripting or tool development to boost operational efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Basic knowledge of industrial power distribution.

2. Willingness to travel overseas for international projects.

3. Experience in sourcing is a plus.
