Our client is a leading Fintech company looking to expanding the team here in HK. The IT Director will be the forefront of the IT team and is responsible for leading a high performing team of IT professionals, consisting of various sub-teams.
The role
Plan & strategize IT direction for the group
Lead a team of IT professionals in performing daily systems support, application development, IT service delivery
Drive changes and digitalization across various IT domains
Review existing systems & architecture with a goal to identify areas for enhancement
Enhance information security framework & incident management investigations
Manage IT Risk, DR planning & ensure business processes align with established governance
Ensure effective use of resources (Data centers, Cloud, Servers)
Identify & introduce best practices for IT department (CI/CD, SDLC, SLA)
Manage internal stakeholders & external vendors
The right candidate:
Bachelor's degree holder in a related field
At least 10 years of experience in an IT leadership role in IT Operations/ Development
Strong knowledge of infrastructure frameworks, security, software development, production support
Familiar with IT methodologies and workflows
Proven track record of completing digitalization projects in a sizeable organization
Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide solutions to multi-faceted problems
Proficient in English, Chinese
