We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, international ISIT projects, including mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, business integrations, infrastructure projects, application implementations, and business transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Manage international projects involving infrastructure, applications, ERP systems, cloud services, cybersecurity, data migration, and business transformation.
- Lead IT activities related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, and post-merger integrations.
- Coordinate IT due diligence and assess infrastructure, systems, applications, licences, contracts, security, resources, costs, and operational risks.
- Develop and manage Day 1, Day 100, transition, separation, migration, and integration plans.
- Support the definition, implementation, monitoring, and exit planning of Transition Service Agreements.
- Ensure critical IT services are available during acquisitions, integrations, separations, and business transitions.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, risk registers, issue logs, action lists, dependency logs, and decision records.
- Monitor project progress, costs, resources, risks, quality, dependencies, and key milestones.
- Identify risks and issues and ensure timely mitigation, escalation, and resolution.
- Manage dependencies across business functions, IT teams, acquired or divested companies, and external service providers.
- Coordinate infrastructure, network, workplace, application, ERP, cybersecurity, data, and service-management workstreams.
- Manage data migration, system consolidation, application separation, and system decommissioning activities.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget through a structured change-control process.
- Facilitate project meetings, workshops, steering committee meetings, and senior management updates.
- Prepare clear project reports, executive summaries, decision papers, and presentations.
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, external advisers, legal teams, vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.
- Manage external suppliers, contracts, deliverables, performance, costs, and service quality.
- Maintain business continuity and reduce operational disruption throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate international stakeholders across different countries, cultures, languages, and time zones.
- Ensure proper project documentation, knowledge transfer, service handover, and formal project closure.
- Support the continuous improvement of project management standards, templates, and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of professional experience in IT project management.
- Proven experience managing large, complex, and international IT projects.
- Practical experience managing IT projects related to mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, or post-merger integrations.
- Experience with IT due diligence, Day 1 readiness, integration planning, separation planning, and Transition Service Agreements.
- Valid Project Management Professional certification is mandatory.
- Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is mandatory, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, planning, budgeting, resource management, risk management, reporting, and change control.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendors, contracts, resources, and senior stakeholders.
- Experience working with international and cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage several priorities and work effectively in a fast-moving and confidential environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally based on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, workplace technology, or data migration.
- Experience working on international projects across Europe and Asia.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methods.
- Additional certifications such as PgMP, ITIL, or SAFe are an advantage.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with legal, finance, HR, procurement, compliance, and business teams.
