Investor Relations & Fundraising VP, Buyside Private Equity (Hong Kong)

A private equity investment firm is seeking a VP to drive fundraising, investor engagement, and strategic business development across its alternative investment business. This role combines institutional relationship management, fundraising execution, and cross-border investor engagement, with regular exposure to LPs, GPs, and regional investment stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising initiatives across alternative investment strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors, LPs, GPs, and strategic stakeholders
• Coordinate roadshows, investor meetings, and fundraising events across regions
• Prepare and enhance marketing materials, investor presentations, and fundraising documentation
• Conduct business development analysis and provide strategic recommendations
• Collaborate with internal teams and regional stakeholders to support fundraising objectives
• Represent the platform during investor engagement activities and business development trips

Key Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience within private equity fundraising, investor relations, placement agents, or financial services
• Experience supporting or executing USD private equity fundraising activities preferred
• Existing or previous SFC license holder preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and institutional relationship capabilities
• Native Mandarin and strong English proficiency Cantonese advantageous
