Investment Operations Manager/Senior Manager

A leading global asset management firm is looking for an experienced Investment Operations Manager/Senior Manager to join its Middle Office Oversight team.

The role will oversee an outsourced middle-office service provider, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of investment book-of-record data across pricing, transactions and positions. You will act as a key point of escalation for operational and data issues, working closely with internal teams and external service providers.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced investment operations professional looking to take ownership of a regional middle-office oversight function within an established asset management environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced middle-office operations and ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of investment data.
• Investigate and resolve data breaks and discrepancies across investment and downstream systems.
• Monitor service-provider performance, controls, SLAs and operational issues, driving escalation and remediation where required.
• Partner with Operations, Technology and other stakeholders on BAU issues, transitions and process improvements.
• Support incident management, root-cause analysis and enhancements to the overall oversight and control framework.
• Review service-provider/vendor invoices and validate charges against agreed contractual terms.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience within asset management middle office, investment operations or service-provider oversight.
• Strong understanding of investment operations, including cash flows, pricing, transactions, positions and fund accounting processes.
