Job requirements

The successful candidate must:

• have at least 7 years of experience advising fund managers on the formation of private investment funds (private equity, venture capital, credit, real estate, etc), with demonstrated depth in fund structuring, LPA drafting, and side letter negotiation;
• be able to run matters and workstreams independently — taking a deal from instruction to completion, exercising sound judgment on what requires partner input, and serving as a direct point of contact for clients with minimal supervision;
• have strong familiarity with private fund structures and the laws and regulations governing private funds and managers, ideally including cross-border structures;
• be collaborative, hard-working, and genuinely interested in practice building and business development;
• possess excellent academic credentials as well as strong organisation, drafting, communication, and analytical skills.

Admission to the Singapore Bar is preferred. We will also consider candidates qualified in other common-law jurisdictions (US/UK) who have substantial private funds experience and the right to work, or a clear path to qualification, in Singapore. Dual qualification (Singapore plus US or UK) is an advantage.
