Investment Management Director – Public Equities (Hong Kong)

A leading asset management platform is seeking an Investment Management Director to lead investment strategy, portfolio performance, and team direction across its equities business.

This is a senior leadership role focused on macro direction, asset allocation, and driving consistent investment performance, while working closely with fund managers and senior stakeholders to grow AUM and enhance the investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and lead the firm's investment strategy and asset allocation framework
• Provide macro views and portfolio direction across public equities
• Oversee portfolio performance and ensure alignment with return and risk objectives
• Lead and develop fund managers and investment teams
• Enhance investment processes, frameworks, and performance standards
• Collaborate on portfolio decisions and capital deployment strategies
• Partner with senior management on AUM growth, product development, and business strategy
• Support fundraising, investor communications, and market positioning
• Monitor market developments and identify investment opportunities

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in portfolio management / asset management
• Proven track record in public equities investing and performance delivery
• Strong experience in asset allocation and macro strategy
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing investment teams
• Strong market judgment and disciplined investment approach
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage senior stakeholders
